Lynnhaven
Lynnhaven River, Virginia 🌎 See Oyster Map
One of the first oysters tasted by the colonists, who explored the Lynnhaven in the early 1600s. The river was closed to harvesting for decades, due to poor water quality, but reopened in 2007 to much fanfair. The huge flow of freshwater makes for a very fresh oyster with minimal brine.
