Robinhood Cove, Maine 🌎 See Oyster Map
New oyster raised by father-and-son team Mike and Mark Gaffney in the pristine, sheltered waters of Midcoast Maine’s Robinhood Cove, on Georgetown Island. The oyster is named for the Greek archer god of passion, but coincidentally, the Abenaki name for Georgetown Island is “Eros ca hagen,” which translates roughly as “good place for an oyster farm.”

Delicious, very clean (Appreciate the clean shells as well), creamy, pretty briney but great with granita. Lots of care has gone into producing a quality oyster.
Delicious! A bit sweeter than other oysters in the damariscotta region.
